Description
The Shire Danbury 2.4m x 2.4m (19mm) combines a log cabin’s strength and weathertightness with the practicality and looks of a shed, which makes for exceptional outdoor storage and an excellent garden workshop.
Constructed in the UK from 19mm interlocking timber boards, this wooden shed’s cladding is more than 50% thicker than most other premium sheds. Together with the 12mm tongue and groove floor and roof, this ensures unbeatable strength and durability.
The floor is fitted with pressure-treated bearers to aid air circulation and prevent rot from developing in this key area. The apex roof includes a weatherproof felt cover to keep out the rain, along with a diamond-shaped finial to round off the shed’s attractive appearance.
The door and window are expertly made using traditional, skilled joinery, so will withstand whatever nature throws at them. The door is fitted with a full-length piano hinge and pad bolt to keep expensive tools safe (padlock not included). The opening window ensures the interior receives plenty of natural light and ventilation. It is made from real glass. A high roofline provides ample headroom and increased garden storage options.
The high-grade pine used to build this wooden shed is FSC®-certified, so only sourced from sustainable, well-managed forests. It is delivered untreated/ unpainted and should be coated in a high-quality wood preservative upon assembly and annually, thereafter, to protect the shed from rot and fungal decay. The customer can paint the wood instead, if desired.
This garden shed is available in 4 sizes. Instructions are included for a straightforward assembly.

Delivery of these items is arranged through the manufacturers' own automated booking website.
They will send an automated text to the telephone number supplied within 2 working days after order placement, asking that you go there and book in your delivery. Any delay booking in your delivery through this system will likely delay the overall delivery.
If you will be unavailable on the day of delivery, the driver can attempt to leave your order in a safe place, please indicate this when selecting your delivery as re-delivery charges may be levied if delivery fails on the agreed date.
If you haven't already agreed a day, the delivery team will contact you to arrange an acceptable delivery date based on the typical lead time stated for the product.
Installation - If ordering installation please allow an additional 2 - 3 weeks for delivery/installation. Installation surchages may apply to certain postcodes.
Upon Delivery:
Delivery of this item is typically made by a 7.5 ton flat-bed (similar size to a council refuse lorry) up to an 18 ton lorry (similar size to a removals lorry). Delivery is typically between 7am and 7pm. Unfortunately, we are unable to specify a timed delivery.
This product is delivered in a flat packed, sectional format direct from manufacturer to your home, with full instructions ready for DIY assembly.
The delivery drivers are only insured to deliver to kerb side or driveway. We would not risk damaging your property whilst delivering a product to an unsafe location. Unfortunately we will not be able to go through your property. Please note that some buildings will not pass through standard doorways in houses. Please call to seek advice if there are any access concerns.
