Construction

This 11x9 wooden shed is constructed from 28mm slow-grown Nordic Spruce, making for an exceptionally strong, long-lasting and stylish garden building. The chalet-cut design and added wind braces ensure unbeatable weatherproof protection.

Floor and Roof

To keep the price down and avoid potentially unnecessary customer expenditure, this garden cabin is supplied without a floor as standard, so is best positioned on concrete or decking. However, an extra-thick 19mm tongue and groove timber floor is available to buy as an optional extra, if required.

The apex roof is built from 16mm-thick tongue and groove, renowned for its strength, weather resistance and aesthetic appeal. Its generous overhang helps shield the interior from sun glare, while 2 diamond-shaped finials round off a very attractive appearance.

Roof Covering Options

Please note that the roof does not include a covering. Buy SBS, Charcoal Felt Shingles or Roof Underlay Felt as an optional extra.

(SBS is a thick, torch-on weatherproof felt with a very long lifespan. Installation should only be carried out by those with advanced DIY skills or a professional installer.

Weatherproof Charcoal Felt Shingles are attractive, easy to fit and will last for years.

Roof Underlay Felt is simple to nail on to the garden building but should only be used as a temporary roof covering or as an underlay to a permanent weatherproof roof cover upgrade.)

Doors and Windows

Storage-friendly access is gained via wide double doors, which are fitted with a stainless-steel sill, laminated frame and key-operated cylinder lock. These doors also feature 2 large windows, offering views of the garden and light for the interior. They are both made from real glass.

Assembly, Guarantee and Choice of Sizes

Supplied with a 5-year manufacturer’s parts guarantee and available in a range of sizes, this Palmako log cabin comes with installation instructions and a fixings kit. The chalet-cut timber boards simply slide together for a straightforward assembly.

Timber Treatment

This wooden shed is made from FSC®-certified timber, which is only sourced from sustainable, well-managed forests. It is also pressure treated to prevent rot. Please follow the manufacturer’s guidelines regarding retreatment.
