A Supremely Weathertight Log Cabin
Boasting 11.1m² of internal space, this garden cabin is constructed from 44mm Nordic spruce interlocking cladding, with added wind braces and a chalet cut design, ensuring it’s suitable for use the whole year round. The floor and roof are both built from premium 19mm tongue & groove, making for an exceptionally strong, durable and weathertight log cabin.
The floor is supported by treated foundation joists, which improve air flow and protect against rot-causing ground moisture in this key area. The roof features an eye-catching reverse apex design and generous overhang, but does not come with a covering as standard.
Roof Covering Options
Why not buy SBS, roof underlay felt and heavy-duty roofing nails as optional extras?
SBS is a thick, torch-on weatherproof felt with a very long lifespan. Installation should only be carried out by those with advanced DIY skills or a professional installer.
Roof underlay felt is simple to nail on to the garden building but should only be used as a temporary roof covering or as an underlay to SBS.
Bifold Doors and Toughened Double Glazing
The bifold doors are fully glazed with 4-6-4mm toughened double glazing. They feature rubber and silicone seals, a laminated frame and stainless-steel sill, for outstanding insulation and resistance to wear and tear. A cylinder lock is included as standard too, ensuring valuable items within the log cabin remain safe.
Assembly and Warranty
Supplied with a 5-year manufacturer’s parts warranty, this garden building includes instructions and a fixings kit for a straightforward assembly.
Timber Treatment
This garden cabin is delivered untreated. It should be coated in a high-quality anti-fungal treatment upon assembly, and annually thereafter, in order to protect the wood from rot and support the warranty. Paint can be applied to customise the log cabin, if desired.
The wood used to build this log cabin is FSC® certified, which is exclusively sourced from sustainable, well-managed forests.
