Boasting 11.2m² of internal space, the garden cabin section is constructed from extra-thick, laminated 56mm Nordic spruce walls, with modern corner connectors, so is incredibly well insulated and pleasant to spend time in, whatever the weather outside. The floor and roof are both built from premium tongue & groove, making for an exceptionally strong, durable and weathertight log cabin.
Featuring extra-thick, laminated wooden posts, slatted rear panels and modern corner connectors, the partially-enclosed 8.2m² wooden gazebo/ canopy area boasts an equally solid structure.
The log cabin’s thick 28mm floor is supported by treated foundation joists, which improve air flow and protect against rot-causing ground moisture in this key area. The 19mm roof features a modern pent design and generous overhang, but does not come with a covering as standard.
Roof Covering Options
Why not buy SBS, roof underlay felt and heavy-duty roofing nails as optional extras?
SBS is a thick, torch-on weatherproof felt with a very long lifespan. Installation should only be carried out by those with advanced DIY skills or a professional installer.
Roof underlay felt is simple to nail on to the garden building but should only be used as a temporary roof covering or as an underlay to SBS.
Sliding Door Sets with Toughened Double Glazing
This log cabin features 2 sets of sliding doors – one to the front of the garden building, the other on the gazebo side. Both are made from 4-16-4mm toughened double glazing. They feature aluminium frames and stainless-steel sills, keeping them protected from wear and tear, and cylinder locks to ensure valuable items within the log cabin remain safe.
Assembly and Warranty
Supplied with a 5-year manufacturer’s parts warranty, this garden building includes instructions and a fixings kit for a straightforward assembly.
Timber Treatment
This garden cabin is delivered untreated. It should be coated in a high-quality anti-fungal treatment upon assembly, and annually thereafter, in order to protect the wood from rot and support the warranty. Paint can be applied to customise the log cabin, if desired.
The wood used to build this log cabin is FSC® certified, which is exclusively sourced from sustainable, well-managed forests.
