    8' x 4" x 3" Forest Lightweight Concrete Fence Post (2360mm x 106mm x 84mm) - £61.99

Throughout their lifespan, timber fence panels are battered by wind and rain which often results in the need to replace them prematurely. In order to maximise their longevity, it is important to provide them with the best protection. Our 8ft x 4 x 3in Lightweight Concrete Fence Posts are proven to offer superior protection and support to fence panels than an average timber fence post. Concrete fence posts will not succomb to common problems such as rot, rust and decay.

Removing the need for fixtures and fittings, the posts feature a groove width of 50mm which makes them compatible with the majority of timber fence panels. Manufactured to be as lightweight as possible, you can be sure of relatively simple movement and installation. Why not offer your panels the ultimate protection by matching these posts with our concrete gravel boards?

The slot in this concrete post is 50mm.

    • Solid, robust concrete fence posts to provide support for timber fence panels.
    • No brackets or fixings required.
    • Simple transport and installation.
    • Enhanced durability against severe weather conditions.
    • These concrete fence posts can be used in conjunction with our concrete gravel boards.

    Forest 6' x 6" Pressure Treated Wooden Gravel Board (1.83m x 0.15m)

    Forest 6' x 6" Pressure Treated Wooden Gravel Board (1.83m x 0.15m) - £8.99

This Pressure Treated Wooden Gravel Board from Forest Garden is the ideal way to extend the life of fence panels and complete any fencing project.

The role of the gravel board is to raise fence panels, especially dip treated panels, to avoid ground contact. This reduces exposure to damp and debris, adding further protection from rot and fungal decay.

The gravel board has been pressure treated to offer a 15-year anti-rot guarantee with no need for retreatment. This gravel board is compatible with 1800mm and 1830mm width fence panels. Please note that it will need to be slightly trimmed for 1800mm panels.

    • Place Beneath Panels To Deter Rot
    • 15 Year Anti-Rot Warranty
    • Long-Life Pressure Treated
    • Sawn Finish
    • Compatible with 1800mm and 1830mm width fence panels (however will need to be cut down slightly for 1800mm panels).

    Forest 6' x 6" Lightweight Concrete Gravel Board (1.83m x 0.15m)

    Forest 6' x 6" Lightweight Concrete Gravel Board (1.83m x 0.15m) - £38.49

Exposure to ground contact is one of the main causes of rot and decay in timber fence panels. Our Fence-Plus Lightweight Concrete Gravel Boards are the best way to provide your fence panels with the solid, stable support that they need. Where timber gravel boards soak up moisture, concrete gravel boards block and deflect moisture away from your panels. With a standing height of 150mm, ground moisture will not be a concern.

Our boards are compatible with both 1800mm and 1830mm wide panels thanks to an innovative removable "nib" design. At an incredible 18kg, our concrete gravel boards are surprisingly easy to manoeuvre and install. The boards are designed to be used in conjunction with our concrete fence posts.

Please note - We recommend the use of a recognised mechanical cutting tool if removing the "nibs".

    • Concrete gravel boards are the ultimate protection for your fence panels.
    • Concrete will not rust, rot or decay.
    • Compatible with 1800mm and 1830mm wide fence panels.
    • Much lighter than most concrete gravel boards.
    • Standing height of 150cm.
    • These concrete gravel boards can be used with our concrete fence posts.

Description

The Forest 6' x 6' (1.8m x 1.8m) Contemporary Grey Slatted Fence Panel is strong, stylish and comes with an excellent 10-year anti-rot guarantee. Ideal for use as screening, partitioning or as a main garden boundary, this is modern garden fencing at its very best.

Constructed from rounded horizontal slats, mounted to the front of vertical battens, these slatted fence panels have a total thickness of 54mm, so are far more substantial than regular garden fence panels. All of the timber is FSC-certified, so only sourced from sustainable, well-managed forests. What's more, a high-quality, water-resistant grey-paint finish ensures a modern, attractive appearance to suit any outdoor area.

The design of this 6x6 fence panel offers natural light, airflow and a degree of privacy too. It works extremely well in a wide range of settings, including as an effective partition within the garden, a dividing screen or as a main garden boundary.

Prior to its factory spray paint finish, the wood has been dip-treated to guard against rot. To maintain the fence panel's attractive appearance and to validate the excellent 10-year anti-rot guarantee, it should be repainted after 3 years, using RAL7016 in a semi-gloss finish or the original Teknos factory paint NORDICA EKO 3330-17, colour code TM-9587/15.

Delivery is free to most UK addresses on orders over £100.

Installation recommendation for Forest Garden Slatted Panels:

  1. At 54mm, these panels are not suitable for slotted fence posts.
  2. The panels can be mounted to the front of the posts to give the effect of an unbroken run. The posts will sit behind the panels. Pre-drill the frame at the top, centre and bottom. Screw through into the post.
  3. The panels can be mounted between timber posts using pre-drilling and screws as suggested before.

From The Supplier: Forest Garden

"We're proud to be the largest and most trusted manufacturer and distributor of garden timber products in the UK" - Forest Garden

Making British Gardens Great

At Forest, we know a fair bit about fences. And sheds for that matter. In fact, we've been one of the UK's most trusted manufacturer and distributor of quality wooden garden products for over 50 years.

With two sawmills in the UK processing locally-sourced timber, and a Head Office in Hartlebury, Worcestershire, you’ll find our range of garden buildings, fencing, decking and decorative structures for sale across many sites online and in over 3,000 retail stores. From the forest to the doorstep, we are involved every step of the way to ensure we bring you the best product and service.

Well made in Britain

The majority of the timber we use is grown and felled from managed UK forests across Scotland and Wales. After felling, the timber is cut and processed in one of our nearby sawmills and taken to our manufacturing operation in the heart of Britain. It is here our skilled workforce proudly produce the widest range of garden buildings, fencing and structures available in the UK.

All of the products that we sell are dispatched from this site. The final part of their journey is managed by our dedicated delivery department who are responsible for distribution direct to customers' homes by our fleet of vehicles.

Home Grown

We're proud to say that the majority of the timber we use is cut in our very own sawmill from trees grown in the UK.

Not only that, but our range is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and the majority of our products carry the FSC logo - so you know that our timber is ethically sourced from well-managed, sustainable forests that are replanted for future generations.
