Accessed via a small veranda, which is partially enclosed by balusters, the door features a handle; black, antique-style hinges; and a 12mm finger gap to prevent little fingers getting trapped. It is also fitted with a window. Together with the additional front window, this provides plenty of natural light to the interior. Both windows are made from shatterproof styrene, which is far tougher and safer than conventional glass.
