A Heavy-Duty Wooden Shed
This garden shed is manufactured from 16mm slow-grown Nordic spruce logs with heavy-duty 32mm framing and readymade wall elements, so is incredibly strong, completely weathertight, and far easier to assemble than most wooden sheds.
Floor and Roof
The floor and roof are both constructed from 16mm tongue and groove - far thicker than found on most premium wooden sheds. The floor is supported by pressure-treated foundation joists, which improve air flow and protect against rot-causing ground moisture in this key area. The roof features a modern pent design with overhang, but does not include a covering as standard. We recommend buying SBS as an optional extra.
(SBS is a thick, torch-on weatherproof felt with a very long lifespan. Installation should only be carried out by those with advanced DIY skills or a professional installer.)
Doors and Window
The sturdy double doors benefit from a laminated frame, which provides resistance to the warping and cracking associated with changes in temperature. They are also fitted with a metal kick plate and key-operated cylinder lock to keep valuable tools secure.
The single window is made from Acrylglass, so is completely shatterproof and far safer than conventional glazing.
Treatment and Guarantee
Supplied with fixings, installation instructions and a 5-year parts guarantee, this wooden shed comes untreated. An anti-fungal treatment should be applied upon assembly, and annually thereafter, to protect the timber and support the guarantee. Paint can be applied to customise the shed, if desired.
