Expertly designed and built in Worcestershire, by the UK's leading manufacturer of wooden garden buildings, Timberdale is Forest's premier range of sheds. Boasting top-quality features throughout and backed by a market-leading 25-year guarantee, this 10x8 double door reverse apex shed (3.06m x 2.52m) is a go-to model for heavy-duty, high-end garden storage, and makes a fantastic workshop too.

Top-Quality Modular Construction

This garden shed is constructed from 12mm tongue and groove boards, renowned for their strength, style and weathertight qualities. A smart modular design means the shed is delivered in smaller sections of interchangeable panels, making for an easier assembly and more versatile window placement. Supported by exceptionally robust, doubled-up 33mm framing (66mm x 33mm), this Timberdale Shed isn't just easier to assemble and more versatile than other wooden sheds, it's far stronger too.

Floor and Roof

The floor and roof are both manufactured from premium 12mm tongue and groove. The former easily copes with regular footfall and heavier stored items. It is fitted with pressure-treated bearers, providing extra support and making an effective barrier against ground moisture. The reverse apex roof makes this shed ideal for use as a garden workshop. It features a superior 140g reinforced-polyester mineral felt cover for unbeatable weatherproof protection (felt colour may vary). Two diamond-shaped finials nicely round off the shed's exceptionally attractive appearance.

Security Door and Opening Windows

The ledged and braced double doors offer storage-friendly access to the workshop. They are fitted with exterior turn buttons, interior bolts and a rim lock to keep valuable tools safe. Once inside, 2 opening windows provide plenty of natural light and ventilation. They are made from 4mm toughened safety glass - great for security and ideal for a busy garden. The high roof line allows plenty of headroom and increases garden storage options.

Ethically Sourced and Hassle Free

The wood used to build this workshop shed is FSC®-certified, so only sourced from sustainable, well-managed forests. It is pressure treated and supplied with a market-leading 25-year anti-rot guarantee, so further treatment is never required, saving time and money over the long run.

Forest's Timberdale range of modular tongue and groove sheds encompasses various sizes and designs, all boasting the same exceptional build quality. Instructions are included for a straightforward assembly.

White Glove Delivery Service

Forest's White Glove Service will deliver this shed for free to most UK addresses, straight into the customer's garden, with all of the packaging removed.

Shed Base Options

Wooden Shed Base

Wooden Shed Base Kit

As an alternative to laying slabs or concrete, this shed base is a faster, more cost effective DIY solution.

The wooden shed base consists of a framework that is made from UC4 incised timber which has been pressure treated. The pressure treatment ensures that the framework is robust and is guaranteed to resist rot for an impressive 15 years.

Size of base: 7.5cm (h) x 241.6cm (w) x 295cm (d)

Plastic Shed Base

Plastic Shed Base Kit

Quick and simple to install, the 10x8 plastic shed base kit is ideal for avoiding the hassle of laying slabs or concrete when preparing a base for a new shed. Its interlocking design makes it easy to put together and, though lightweight, it provides a very strong and durable base for the shed. Made from 100% recycled plastic, this shed base is eco-friendly. Also, it can be reused if the shed is repositioned. The base allows for ventilation and drainage under the shed, helping to keep the shed floor dry.

To install the base, simply interlock the square grids together and lay onto a firm, level area of ground. We recommend using 15kg of 10mm pea gravel per square (gravel not included). Each square is 500 x 500 x 40mm. This pack contains 30 squares and heavy-duty, commercially-graded weed membrane.

Please be advised that we do not assemble plastic shed bases as part of our installation service. You must prepare the base yourself in advance of the installers' visit.

Why Choose a Forest Tongue & Groove Timberdale Shed?

Supplied with a market-leading 25-year anti-rot guarantee as standard, Timberdale Sheds are robust, durable and packed full of premium features. Their tight, interlocking tongue & groove construction forms an unbeatable weatherproof seal and makes for an exceptionally attractive appearance.

Why you need a Forest Timberdale Tongue & Groove Shed?

With their tongue & groove build, substantial framing and high-end features, Forest’s Premium Timberdale Sheds offer you robust, practical and exceptionally stylish garden storage. Also, although there’s a slightly higher initial outlay when purchasing one of these sheds, the wood’s pressure-treated protection saves you both time and money in the long run, 25 Year Life Anti-Rot Guarantee means no time-consuming, costly retreatments are required.

1. Pressure Treated Fully Modular Design

Pressure treatment forces preservative deep inside the timber. The result is long-lasting protection against rot and fungal decay. With a market-leading 25-year anti-rot guarantee, there is no need to re-treat EVER, saving time and an estimated £200 in treatment costs compared to dip treated sheds. Interchangeable modular framed sections allow ease of assembly and flexibility of door and window positioning. Single doors can be hung to be left- or right-hand opening.

2. Traditional Finial & Barge Board

Attractive smooth planed finial & barge boards.

3. Doors with Double Z Framing

Far stronger and more secure than those found on other wooden sheds, Forest Timberdale Shed doors are reinforced with sturdy double-Z framing. This prevents them from warping, sagging or dropping.

4. Traditional Rim Lock Door Latch

Heavy-duty hinges, interior bolts and a rim lock add even greater security, keeping your valuable tools safe from unwanted attention.

5. Sturdy Floor

The robust and stable 12mm tongue and groove floor is elevated by pressure-treated joists for extra protection from ground moisture. Due to its thickness, a tongue and groove floor improves the shed’s level of insulation and will neither buckle under the weight of heavier items nor regular footfall.

6. Premium Safety Glass

Providing ventilation and light for a pleasant working and storage space, the opening windows are made from premium 4mm toughened safety glass and are secured with high-quality latches. To suit your garden, the windows can be placed on either side of the apex models. The windowless versions are designed for even greater security, as they deter unwanted attention.

7. 12mm Tongue & Groove Construction

Timberdale sheds are built from interlocking 12mm tongue & groove boards, which are robust, durable and supremely weathertight. Completely resistant to warping too, these sheds come with a 66mm x 33mm frame, which is 30% thicker than most wooden sheds. This extra framing ensures even greater strength and stability.

8. High Quality Roof with Superior Felt

The premium Timberdale shed range roofs are made from 12mm tongue and groove wood, fitted with a superior 140g reinforced-polyester mineral felt cover for complete weatherproof protection and a stylish finish. Don’t underestimate the importance of a top-quality roof as it’s your shed’s first line of defence against the elements.

Premium Modular

Premium quality, high strength, Tongue & Groove modular framed design.

Pressure Treatment Process Explained

The Pressure Treatment process for timber has been applied to products for a number of years; the key benefit of this process is that the preservative is forced under vacuum pressure right deep into the heart of the wood and the grain structure. The preservative becomes an integral part of the wood; giving a long life and protection against rot.

This process also means that you never have to apply preservatives to your garden shed, and it allows the natural colours of the timber to show through and so your shed blends easily within your garden. Surprisingly, our Pressure Treated Sheds are only slightly more expensive than Dip Treated Sheds.

Timber is loaded into chamber and a vacuum empties timber cells of air.

Cylinder is flooded under vacuum with preservative.

Preservative is forced deep into timber using hydraulic pressure.

Another vacuum extracts excess preservative.

Timber draws in surface excess of preservative under low pressure, then is left to dry.

"We're proud to be the largest and most trusted manufacturer and distributor of garden timber products in the UK" - Forest Garden

Making British Gardens Great

At Forest, we know a fair bit about fences. And sheds for that matter. In fact, we've been one of the UK's most trusted manufacturer and distributor of quality wooden garden products for over 50 years.

With two sawmills in the UK processing locally-sourced timber, and a Head Office in Hartlebury, Worcestershire, you’ll find our range of garden buildings, fencing, decking and decorative structures for sale across many sites online and in over 3,000 retail stores. From the forest to the doorstep, we are involved every step of the way to ensure we bring you the best product and service.

Well made in Britain

The majority of the timber we use is grown and felled from managed UK forests across Scotland and Wales. After felling, the timber is cut and processed in one of our nearby sawmills and taken to our manufacturing operation in the heart of Britain. It is here our skilled workforce proudly produce the widest range of garden buildings, fencing and structures available in the UK.

All of the products that we sell are dispatched from this site. The final part of their journey is managed by our dedicated delivery department who are responsible for distribution direct to customers' homes by our fleet of vehicles.

Home Grown

We're proud to say that the majority of the timber we use is cut in our very own sawmill from trees grown in the UK.

Not only that, but our range is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and the majority of our products carry the FSC logo - so you know that our timber is ethically sourced from well-managed, sustainable forests that are replanted for future generations.
