An Elite Log Cabin

Backed by a 10-year anti-rot guarantee, this garden cabin is built in the UK from ethically-sourced 28mm interlocking logs, for a strong, durable, weathertight structure. The extra-thick floor and modern pent roof are constructed from premium 16mm tongue & groove, the latter being fitted with a high-quality weatherproof felt cover to ensure the interior remains completely dry.

Inside the Log Cabin

Glazed double doors provide comfortable access to the log cabin. They can be secured by a 3-point locking system to keep valuable items safe. Thanks to the additional opening window, the interior is easy to ventilate and bathed in natural light. All of the glass is double glazed, for enhanced insulation and to withstand the rigours of a busy garden.

This log cabin also includes an air vent to prevent moisture developing inside the garden building, when the window is closed.

The Gazebo with Sides

The integral 2.7m x 2.5m gazebo with sides provides room for dining alfresco, outdoor entertainment, or an additional relaxation area. Alternately, it can be used as a bike shelter or for outdoor storage.

Guarantee and Timber Treatment

Delivered untreated, this garden cabin comes with a 10-year anti-rot guarantee and 1-year parts guarantee. The former is dependent on the customer treating the wood with a high-quality preservative upon assembly, and then following the manufacturer’s guidance relating to further treatment.

Mercia has a team of trained installers who can carry out your log cabin installation for a professional, hassle-free assembly. Their dedicated training to installing Mercia Log Cabins ensures an expert finish.

 

Please be aware that the delivery and installation will not occur on the same day but will be scheduled very close together where possible.

 

The fitters will require at least 60cm/24” on each side of the base to carry out the installation. The base should be level and on firm ground. Mercia recommend that the base be very slightly smaller than the external measurement of the building to create a run off for water and that the door be at least 25mm above ground level to prevent flooding.

 

Mercia do not provide a service for the preparation of the base area or for installation of electrics, wi-fi, solar lighting or plastic bases. If you require assistance with these, we recommend the use of Checkatrade.com for locating a reputable tradesperson in your area. Solar lighting packs are designed to be easy DIY assembly.

 

Please inform customer service BEFORE you order, if you believe there are restrictions which could impact the delivery and installation of the garden room.

Delivery of this item is typically made by a 7.5 ton flat-bed (similar size to a council refuse lorry) up to an 18 ton lorry (similar size to a removals lorry). Delivery is typically between 7am and 7pm. Unfortunately, we are unable to specify a timed delivery.

This product is delivered in a flat packed, sectional format direct from the manufacturer to your home with full instructions ready for DIY assembly.

The delivery drivers are only insured to deliver to kerb side or driveway. We would not risk damaging your property whilst delivering a product to an unsafe location. Unfortunately we will not be able to go through your property. Please note that some buildings will not pass through standard doorways in houses. Please call to seek advice if there are any access concerns.
