Description

Almost double the size of our standard overlap wooden cold frame, this frame offers plenty of space for growing all types of plants all year round.

This large cold frame has been designed to ensure maximum light and warmth is trapped in order to extend the ususal growing season. Gardening cold frames are the ideal choice for hardening your plants before exposing them to the typical british weather. This handy large cold frame is perfect to ensure you can keep growing your vegetables and herbs all year round. The large cold frame is durable but also lightweight and can be moved around the garden whenever you need to, offering great suitability.

To construct this large cold frame, premium materials are used to assure top value and a product that will last for many years to come. The overlap construction is ideal if you are on a budget but want long lasting results. The timber that has been used has then been pressure treated by the manufacturer to assure that you have a 15 year protection against rotting and other weather damage such as fungal decay. In these 15 years you do not need to re treat the timber saving you money and time. We would however advise that you do treat your cold frame so that you extend the product life and have a space for growing for even longer.

Two independent opening lids both have timber props in order to help you plant with ease, preventing any hassle when using the cold frame. Once delivered, with a few hours you will have the cold frame up and ready to use, stress free and impressed.

  • Precise Dimensions - 3'7x2'1ft/1.09x0.63m
  • Two independently opening lids each with their own timber prop to allow air circulation.
  • Perfect for hardening your plants before exposing them to British Weather.
  • Pressure Treated Overlap Cladding - 15 year manufacturer guarantee.

Forest Logo

Making British Gardens Great

At Forest, we know a fair bit about fences. And sheds for that matter. In fact, we've been one of the UK's most trusted manufacturer and distributor of quality wooden garden products for over 50 years.

With two sawmills in the UK processing locally-sourced timber, and a Head Office in Hartlebury, Worcestershire, you’ll find our range of garden buildings, fencing, decking and decorative structures for sale across many sites online and in over 3,000 retail stores. From the forest to the doorstep, we are involved every step of the way to ensure we bring you the best product and service.

Forests

Home Grown

We're proud to say that the majority of the timber we use is cut in our very own sawmill from trees grown in the UK.

Not only that, but our range is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and the majority of our products carry the FSC logo - so you know that our timber is ethically sourced from well-managed, sustainable forests that are replanted for future generations.

(Certification number TT-COC-001790, Issue date 5 March 2015)

Made in the UK

Well made in Britain

The majority of the timber we use is grown and felled from managed UK forests across Scotland and Wales. After felling, the timber is cut and processed in one of our nearby sawmills and taken to our manufacturing operation in the heart of Britain. It is here our skilled workforce proudly produce the widest range of garden buildings, fencing and structures available in the UK.

All of the products that we sell are dispatched from this site. The final part of their journey is managed by our dedicated delivery department who are responsible for distribution direct to customers' homes by our fleet of vehicles.
