As David Attenborough is to nature and Jamie Oliver is to food, Alan Titchmarsh is to gardening. He’s been gracing UK TV screens on programmes like Gardeners' World for decades and now he’s launched an exciting new online venture in partnership with one of our key suppliers, Forest Garden.
“I’ve always been a proud supporter of the UK gardening industry,” Alan shares, “and I’m thrilled to be working with some of the best in the business on my new channel.”
Gardening with Alan Titchmarsh
This new channel he’s referring to is Gardening with Alan Titchmarsh, which launched on YouTube on Friday 4th April 2025. Through this platform, the UK’s best-loved gardener will be releasing weekly videos with planting tips, practical demonstrations and gardening advice for gardeners of all levels.
So where does Forest Garden come in?
Well, the company has been named the Official Supplier of Timber Garden Products for the video series and has supplied a range of sustainable garden products to support the show. For Guy Grainger, Chairman of Forest Garden, it’s a win-win partnership.
“It’s a real privilege for Forest to be part of this next chapter in Alan Titchmarsh’s gardening journey,” he explains. “His knowledge and warmth resonate with millions and we’re proud to support that with British-made products that reflect our values – sustainable, practical and built to last.”
Sustainable Wooden Gardening Products From Forest Garden
Forest is the UK’s leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality wooden garden products, and predominantly uses British-grown timber that’s come from sustainable sources. The company’s expertise and experience made Forest the perfect partner for the Gardening with Alan Titchmarsh series.
“From the very first conversations, there was a shared vision – to inspire people to make the most of their outdoor spaces using quality British, sustainable products,” Jenny Davis, Head of Marketing at Forest Garden, shares. “Seeing our Potting Bench take centre stage in every episode is a real source of pride.”
Alongside the Forest Wooden Potting Bench, other Forest products that feature in the series include the following:
- Forest Large Deep Root Wooden Garden Planter: A high-quality planter that allows deep-rooted plants to flourish.
- Forest Harvington 5ft Wooden Garden Bench: An elegant bench that’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy your garden.
- Forest 1m Kitchen Garden Planter: A neat planter that’s ideal for growing herbs and salads right outside your kitchen door.
These products are all great examples of Forest’s thoughtful approach to design and focus on sustainability, and they’ll be coming to a screen near you over the next few weeks.
