This 7x5 Pent Dip Treated Overlap Shed is a shed has been made using timber that has been dip treated, to prevent the onset of rot. Treated annually this assurance can last for even longer making it a long lasting addition to any garden. The shed has been made using overlap cladding, a great choice for those who are budgeting. Overlap cladding uses saw cut timbers from European forests that assures higher quality than cheaper timbers giving you more protection from the weather.

The shed has a single front door for easy access which has a butterfly latch to keep it shut and prevents it from flying open in wind. We recommend that if high value items are being stored that you add a padlock to prevent theft .

Dip Treatment Process Explained

Dip treatment is a tried and tested method of applying wood preservative to timber products, and the process is fairly straightforward. First, the timber is dipped into a cylinder containing a powerful wood preservative. The preservative is then absorbed into the surface of the timber and, after it’s removed and left to dry, it will be thoroughly protected it against both rot and fungal decay.

After the dip treatment process is completed, the timber will have a lovely orangey-brown hue, ensuring it will become an attractive feature of your garden, as well as complementing most fence panels. Of course, you can choose to stain your dip treated shed another colour upon assembly. If you’re interested in an affordable, practical, and sturdy dip treated shed, why not take a look at our featured products below?
