Accessing the Bike Shed
Both the hinged double doors and hatch roof provide very easy access to the bike shed’s interior. They can be secured by a galvanised steel pad bolt to keep valuable bikes safe (padlock not included). The doors are ledged for extra strength, while the roof features 2 robust props, as well as a modern pent/ skillion design for efficient rainwater run-off.
Assembling This Bicycle Storage Unit
This bike store features rolled safety edges, so the parts can be handled comfortably. The patented SNAPTiTE assembly system means 75% less screws are required than on a standard metal bike shed. Pre-assembled panels, pre-punched holes, clearly-labelled parts and 7-day telephone support are all provided too, helping ensure an exceptionally easy assembly.
Please note that this bike storage unit is designed without a floor, so must be secured to a concrete or paved base. An Absco anchor kit is included for this purpose. The bike shed is wind tested to 147kmph, once the anchor kit is in place.
