Description
This compact 3x5 Dip Treated Overlap Shed is a convenient storage solution that is ideal for decking, patios and small gardens.
The 3x5 windowless shed has been constructed to a high standard using timber chosen for its excellent properties. The timber of the shed has been slow grown in sustainable European forests and has then been saw cut into overlap cladding which gives you fantastic results without breaking the bank.
The shed gains its strong nature due to the robust timber that has been used to create the frame, cladding, roof and floor. The strong core frame allows the overlap cladding to be fixed to it and provide a weatherproof build that allows you to store your items with peace of mind from danger.
The shed features a traditional apex roof which means storing long handled tools is easy as well as extra head height inside. The roof and flooring have both been made with OSB board which is an 8-10mm thick. The floor is supported by pressure treated floor boards for added strength and longevity.
The single door features a turn button closure that will keep it shut. If you need to add a padlock, we recommend selecting a shed with a hasp and staple closure or adding your own after purchase.
This shed is dip treated providing it with a 10-year guarantee against rot and fungal decay, when supported by annual retreatment.

What are the Benefits of a Dip Treated Shed?
For a shed that is cost-effective yet still long lasting, a dip treated shed is a dependable choice. Our Forest branded sheds have a number of other great features to further enhance durability and security. These features include additional diagonal framing for extra strong doors; hidden door hinges; a hasp and staple ready for your padlock; eaves 6” higher than other brands; and, if you opt for a shed with a window, the windows are made from unbreakable polycarbonate and attached with security screws.

Don't be fooled by cheap imitations. Buy a shed to last a lifetime!
Our Sheds
Our dip treated sheds have the more traditional preservative treatment that gives the familiar finish to wooden garden sheds. They do not need to be treated for the first 12 months and all come with a 10 year guarantee against rot, when supported with annual retreatment.
Competitors' Sheds
Pre-treated with a waterbase treatment that only protects the product for up to 3 months against mould. Recommended to treat upon installation and annually thereafter.

Dip Treatment Process Explained
Dip treatment is a tried and tested method of applying wood preservative to timber products, and the process is fairly straightforward. First, the timber is dipped into a cylinder containing a powerful wood preservative. The preservative is then absorbed into the surface of the timber and, after it’s removed and left to dry, it will be thoroughly protected it against both rot and fungal decay.
After the dip treatment process is completed, the timber will have a lovely orangey-brown hue, ensuring it will become an attractive feature of your garden, as well as complementing most fence panels. Of course, you can choose to stain your dip treated shed another colour upon assembly. If you’re interested in an affordable, practical, and sturdy dip treated shed, why not take a look at our featured products below?

Making British Gardens Great
At Forest, we know a fair bit about fences. And sheds for that matter. In fact, we've been one of the UK's most trusted manufacturer and distributor of quality wooden garden products for over 50 years.
With two sawmills in the UK processing locally-sourced timber, and a Head Office in Hartlebury, Worcestershire, you’ll find our range of garden buildings, fencing, decking and decorative structures for sale across many sites online and in over 3,000 retail stores. From the forest to the doorstep, we are involved every step of the way to ensure we bring you the best product and service.
Home Grown
We're proud to say that the majority of the timber we use is cut in our very own sawmill from trees grown in the UK.
Not only that, but our range is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and the majority of our products carry the FSC logo - so you know that our timber is ethically sourced from well-managed, sustainable forests that are replanted for future generations.

Well made in Britain
The majority of the timber we use is grown and felled from managed UK forests across Scotland and Wales. After felling, the timber is cut and processed in one of our nearby sawmills and taken to our manufacturing operation in the heart of Britain. It is here our skilled workforce proudly produce the widest range of garden buildings, fencing and structures available in the UK.
All of the products that we sell are dispatched from this site. The final part of their journey is managed by our dedicated delivery department who are responsible for distribution direct to customers' homes by our fleet of vehicles.
Helping Everyone Thrive
We like to do our bit for charity and are proud to support Thrive. Thrive uses gardening as therapy to bring about positive changes in the lives of people living with disabilities or ill health, or those who are isolated, disadvantaged or vulnerable.
