Description

Incredibly strong, remarkably spacious and built here, in the UK, the Overlap Pressure Treated 10x15 Apex Shed with Double Doors enjoys an unusually generous width, making it not only a great garden storage facility, but the ideal workshop or hobby room too.

With plenty of room to house shelving and work benches, this wooden shed is constructed from 7mm square-cut overlap cladding on a 28mm x 28mm timber frame, so is robust, durable and perfectly designed to ensure efficient rainwater run-off. Pressure-treated and backed by a fantastic 15-year anti-rot guarantee, this garden shed requires no further treatment, saving both time and money.

The 16mm solid timber boarded floor has also been pressure-treated and lends itself well to storing heavier items, whilst the 8mm OSB apex roof enjoys a sand felt covering to provide outstanding protection against the elements. What's more, all of the wood has a beautiful natural finish and is FSC-certified as being only sourced from sustainable, well-managed forests.

The wide double doors offer storage-friendly access and can be secured by a hasp and staple fastening (padlock not included) to protect expensive tools and machinery from unwanted attention. Additional security features include a superior double-Z door frame, for greater strength, and hidden hinges.

This garden workshop shed also benefits from 6 fixed windows, providing an abundance of natural light and perfect workshop conditions. All of the windows are made from near-unbreakable polycarbonate, which is renowned for being far safer than conventional glass and will not fade or discolour over time.

Measuring 2300mm x 3040mm x 4550mm, this large garden shed comes with fixtures, fittings and easy-to-follow assembly instructions. It is available with a depth of 10, 15 or 20ft.

Shed Base Option

Plastic Shed Base

Plastic Shed Base Kit

Quick and simple to install, the 10x15 plastic shed base kit is ideal for avoiding the hassle of laying slabs or concrete when preparing a base for a new shed. Its interlocking design makes it easy to put together and, though lightweight, it provides a very strong and durable base for the shed. Made from 100% recycled plastic, this shed base is eco-friendly. Also, it can be reused if the shed is repositioned. The base allows for ventilation and drainage under the shed, helping to keep the shed floor dry.

To install the base, simply interlock the square grids together and lay onto a firm, level area of ground. We recommend using 15kg of 10mm pea gravel per square (gravel not included). Each square is 500 x 500 x 50mm. This pack contains 70 squares and heavy-duty, commercially-graded weed membrane.

Pressure treated overlap sheds

Why choose a pressure treated shed?

Buying a new shed is an investment in your home and garden. For just a little more than a dip treated shed, a pressure treated shed will offer added peace of mind and, in the long run, save you time and money.

In addition to premium pressure treatment, our Forest branded sheds have a number of other great features to further enhance durability and security. These design details include a hasp and staple ready for your padlock or a mortice lock with key; a boarded wooden floor – rather than OBS – for extra strength and stability; security door hinges; and so much more.

Don't be fooled by cheap imitations. Buy a shed to last a lifetime!

Our Sheds

Pressure treated to impregnate preservative deep into the wood. Re-treatment never required. Saves an average £200 in treatments and precious time.

Competitors' Sheds

Pre-treated with a waterbase treatment that only protects the product for up to 3 months against mould. Recommended to treat upon installation and annually thereafter. Therefore, when comparing costs, add about 4 hours of your valuable time and at least £25 a year for every re-treatment.

Pressure Treated

Pressure Treatment Process Explained

The Pressure Treatment process for timber has been applied to products for a number of years; the key benefit of this process is that the preservative is forced under vacuum pressure right deep into the heart of the wood and the grain structure. The preservative becomes an integral part of the wood; giving a long life and protection against rot.

This process also means that you never have to apply preservatives to your garden shed, and it allows the natural colours of the timber to show through and so your shed blends easily within your garden. Surprisingly, our Pressure Treated Sheds are only slightly more expensive than our Dip Treated Sheds.

step 1 Vacuum

Timber is loaded into chamber and a vacuum empties timber cells of air.

step 2 Flooded

Cylinder is flooded under vacuum with preservative.

step 3 Pressure

Preservative is forced deep into timber using hydraulic pressure.

step 4 Vacuum

Another vacuum extracts excess preservative.

step 5 Dry

Timber draws in surface excess of preservative under low pressure, then is left to dry.

NO NEED TO RE-TREAT - SAVING YOU TIME AND MONEY!

Forest Logo

Making British Gardens Great

At Forest, we know a fair bit about fences. And sheds for that matter. In fact, we've been one of the UK's most trusted manufacturer and distributor of quality wooden garden products for over 50 years.

With two sawmills in the UK processing locally-sourced timber, and a Head Office in Hartlebury, Worcestershire, you’ll find our range of garden buildings, fencing, decking and decorative structures for sale across many sites online and in over 3,000 retail stores. From the forest to the doorstep, we are involved every step of the way to ensure we bring you the best product and service.

Forests

Home Grown

We're proud to say that the majority of the timber we use is cut in our very own sawmill from trees grown in the UK.

Not only that, but our range is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and the majority of our products carry the FSC logo - so you know that our timber is ethically sourced from well-managed, sustainable forests that are replanted for future generations.

(Certification number TT-COC-001790, Issue date 5 March 2015)

Made in the UK

Well made in Britain

The majority of the timber we use is grown and felled from managed UK forests across Scotland and Wales. After felling, the timber is cut and processed in one of our nearby sawmills and taken to our manufacturing operation in the heart of Britain. It is here our skilled workforce proudly produce the widest range of garden buildings, fencing and structures available in the UK.

All of the products that we sell are dispatched from this site. The final part of their journey is managed by our dedicated delivery department who are responsible for distribution direct to customers' homes by our fleet of vehicles.
