Service
Upon certain timber and metal buildings, you have the opportunity and convenience of selecting an optional erection service for your product, so long as you are within the service area as defined at the base of your chosen product page. To ensure that you receive the best of service, with care for your product, all installations are undertaken by experienced operatives who are familiar with the handling and construction of our products. All timber buildings whether pre-glazed or glazed upon site, have their glass or Perspex fitted in a 'dry' format, therefore without putty. Due to the low inherent value or DIY flat-pack nature of our metal and plastic buildings, we do not generally install these products.

Products we Install
Treetop, one of our manufacturers, operate an installation service upon their own products. We therefore offer their erection service as a selectable option upon their ranges: 'Treetops'; sheds, playhouses, garages and pet houses, plus 'Traditional'; sheds, summerhouses and playhouses. All Dandf summerhouses and playhouses can be selected with an installation service, which would be undertaken by Dandf staff or their approved contractors. We also offer an installation service upon our recently added Dura-Shed range. With regard to metal buildings, installation is an option upon Asgard products and the largest Trimetals metal shed.

Coverage
For Treetop, Traditional and Dura-Shed products, the fixed installation charges as stated upon our product pages relate to a service area that covers the majority of the UK mainland (England, Scotland and Wales). The only current exceptions are all Scottish locations north of Edinburgh and Glasgow. The Dandf / Asgard / Trimetals service area is throughout Mainland England and Wales. Please note that a level paved or concreted base area should always be provided by the customer, prior to installation.

Requirements
Where an erection service is requested, the proposed building location should be firm and level, being of a paved or concrete base construction of no less than the plan size of the building itself. An appropriately solid foundation will support and increase the lifespan of your building. Upon smaller timber buildings, the use of 3"x2" (75 x 50mm) pressure treated timber floor bearers at 18" to 2' centres upon solid, level ground may be satisfactory, but this means of support should not be considered equal to a good base.

The proposed position should clear (including 600mm/2' surrounding working space) and free of impeding tree branches or planting etc. The final location should have good and unrestricted access to allow the transfer of large timber building sections. Most sections are too large to pass through a garage pedestrian door or through a house for example. It is the customers responsibility to ensure full access is available for the building sections, so to avoid any abortive delivery or erection changes, therefore please check the access available. If you have any access doubts or concerns, please contact us prior to order for advice.

All pricing shown includes VAT at the prevailing rate. All sizes stated are approximate as quoted by our manufacturers.
*Upon a minority of goods some distant UK mainland locations may not be serviced or attract extra delivery charges. See product pages for details.
