by Shedstore customer on Wednesday 13th of January 2010The "Tin shed" did not disapoint, it is spacious and looks good. It is however not a simple task to erect. It has been subject to a few leaks and condensation in the recent freezing/snowy weather but I would recommend. |

by Shedstore customer on Wednesday 21st of October 2009I was able to construct this garage on my own with minimal difficulty. Obviously it took me far longer to complete than recommended for two people. Problems I came across 1.Some of the packaging was damaged and there was some minor dents on some of the panels, while I was not happy with this I did not feel it waranted a big complaint. 2.Some of the frame work pieces had material left behind and I spent perhaps and hour overall just removing small discs from the frames to accomodate the self tapping screws.
3.The base of the walls were fit together using 200mm brackets this was also where the main frame for the walls were fixed into T junctions. Of the 8 Brackets supplied 4 were not wider(or smaller) than the base rails so these joints had to be forced to fit. Due to the gauge of the material it was not too difficult to do this but it was not to my liking. 4.When starting to fit the roof it became apparent that there were not going top be enough self tapping screws. And due to the fact I was doing this on weekend time I lost at least a week sourcing and having to buy the same screws to complete the job. With the two rear panels, the two transparent panels and three of the remaining roof panels fit I ran out of screws both 9&12mm. there was still over half the roof to fit. This was the single biggest and most annoying part of the whole job. I still have enough plastic washers to do another complete garage and possibly more. Overall I am happy with the garage the manual was excellent. I had some small issues with it but was able to work through them, taking breaks and coffee etc. I would like to see gutters on the garage and will have to make some or fit some due to the size of this particular model. A lot of rain falls in these here parts. Good Luck. |

by Shedstore customer on Sunday 28th of December 2008Good value for money. It is sturdy enough for me on the windy moors. Do not try to assemble in the wind, as it is only strong when fully built, It will crumple like a toy (and did do! it required straightening of many parts! but that was my fault for hurrying) Odd bits require 'fettling' but nothing a drill and 2mm bit wont sort out. For the price, a very good product. I would buy again. |

by Shedstore customer on Monday 22nd of December 2008The product was exactly as described. Once assembled it is very sturdy. The only problem is that putting it together is very time consuming and challanging. At the least two people are needed and it may take up to three days to complete. It is very difficult to assemble in cold/wet/windy weather. |

by Shedstore customer on Sunday 19th of October 2008The instructions and the diagrams could be made easier to understand and if you dont have DIY skills ability then this garage assembly is definately not for you. The manufacturers could with a little bit of thought make this product more assembly friendly to everyone if only they would sit down and watch someone try to put one of these garages up. It is possible to put it up with two people but do try to get as many friends to help you . IMPORTANT- do give yourself a week if you intend to erect it on your own and make sure the weather is on your side as anything stronger than a light breeze will have your garage falling over on its self .Advice is get the roof on asap to make the structure solid. Once that is on it makes the whole building secure but make sure you remember to fit the ankor kit as it can still lift off skyward and end up in your neighbours back garden. WARNING- If you want to keep on good terms with your girlfriend dont ask her to help you. |

by Shedstore customer on Sunday 31st of August 2008Do NOT assemble when there is any wind. Two people is the minimum but the more the merrier. Instructions ok and all pieces were labled. |

by Shedstore customer on Monday 02nd of June 2008The unit as a whole represented good value for money. The instructions could do with improving as time is wasted on assembly by duplicate work as diagrams are unclear. Also security of finished product is suspect as only a screw driver is needed to remove panels. A suggestion would be for either rivets or at least security headed bolts (with tool provided ) |

by Shedstore customer on Sunday 01st of June 2008Was relatively easy with two of us, but a few of the parts could do with a bit more labelling (this way up, etc!!) |

by Shedstore customer on Tuesday 15th of January 2008The metal garage is good value for money, it however did take a week for me to put it together it reminded me of meccano, it's not completely water proof but still in general for the size it is good value. |

by Shedstore customer on Monday 14th of January 2008Everything delivered ok and on time. You have to take your time in assembling but the final garage looks good, is more substantial than I thought it would be and great value too. I raised mine up on cement blocks to give more head room as this is used as a home workshop. |

by Shedstore customer on Wednesday 21st of November 2007Excellent product and excellent service. Took a full weekend to build. Make sure you have somebody to give you a hand. Instructions are fine. My tips are, have a couple of electric screwdrivers handy as well as a small drill bit as some of the holes need re-drilled. If you are having trouble with the instructions make a cuppa and by that time everything will be fine! |

by Shedstore customer on Saturday 22nd of September 2007I was very pleased with yardmaster 1017. Very good value for the money. Instructions very easy to follow if read with care..It took 3 days to put together doing it on my own. There is only one point I would like to make, and that is the doors need to be made stronger as they tend to bend. I put two cross bars top&bottom on each doorand that did the trick. Thanks again shedstore. |

by Shedstore customer on Wednesday 19th of September 2007Great product, really good price, however it really does take some putting together. It took me nearly 5 days, (all day) by myself! Could have done with a hand and I will remember that in future! |

by Shedstore customer on Tuesday 18th of September 2007Great value. Instructions and item labelling could be improved lots, took around 36 man-hours to assemble. Doors flimsy and tricky to align. Best value for money there is though. |

by Shedstore customer on Tuesday 11th of September 2007I am totally satisfied with my purchase and the finished item exceeded my expectations. There were a couple of discrepancies in the assembly instructions but these were easily overcome with a little care and consideration and judiscious use of suitable hand tools. Good base preparation was the key to my success. Thank you very much. |

by Shedstore customer on Saturday 28th of July 2007Delivery was quick and overall the product is good. It looks great but is as it says a 'garage'( A big metal container for your car) If you want to put electrics and a work bench in then think twice as it's not 100% water proof. Customer services are excellent for any missing parts, etc. |

by Shedstore customer on Monday 09th of July 2007Very peased with the garage and thought it was excellent value for money. The only thing I would say is that the doors are a little bit on the flimsy side. I would definately recommend the product. |
