 | The Trimetals Bicycle Store has so far proved safe, sturdy and has withstood the recent torrential rain. The bikes have been kept dry inside. The store is easy to open and the colours mean it doesn't stand out too much in our small front garden. However, putting the store together was a major job and we were fortunate that we had an experienced handy man to help. Even he found some aspects difficult, and overall it took around four hours, and for the last stages does require two people. The instructions would benefit from some words, not just diagrams, which can be hard to work out. It is a very tight fit with three bikes (one adult male, one adult female and one medium child), whilst two would fit comfortably. We have to be careful storing and taking the bikes out to avoid any damage to them. | It took 4 hours to erect and because it was against a caravan we were unable to tighten the bolts sucessfully at the back of the store = it was secured to the floor and we could not get between the two so have had to supply different ones. | Very good quality, very good spring mechanism for opening the door. Lots of nuts and bolts, takes a few hours to build it, need two people on some occasions. | I was impressed with the quality of the bicycle store. Delivery was prompt and despite other reviews warning of a tricky and long assembly, as a reasonably competent DIYer, I did it single handedly in an afternoon. Take it slowly and read the instructions carefully - which by the way are very well illustrated. You definately need help sliding on the hinged door panel and with the final tightening up of the bolts, but that can be done with anyone in 10 minutes. a Shedstore customer, Wednesday 13th of January 2010 |
