| Description & Notes |
The Life Space Premium Insulated WRP03 Office from the Forest garden building range. The Life Space Premium Insulated takes you away from the distractions of your home and into a calm, light and modern environment - ideal as a home office, yet still appropriate for leisure as a stylish summerhouse should you wish. This top-of-the-range insulated Life Space model has all the benefits of the WRP02 Premium model, yet now enhanced with additional insulation and quality properties, namely; double glazing, insulated (twin skin) walls and an insulated floor - all to offer a stable environment whatever the weather or season. Formed from insulated (twin skin) timber wall panels clad with 17mm timber tongue and groove boarding, supported by an anodised aluminium structural framing. The roof is formed for a twin wall polycarbonate which offers insulation properties, in addition to allowing the passage of natural light into the building. The insulated floor is formed from a 28mm deckboard, with the structure being sat upon a galvanised steel base frame. The fully-glazed double door can be fitted offset left or right within the front elevation, which you simply choose upon installation. The door is securable by a shoot bolt locking system, whereas the three opening windows (1 front, 2 side) have a 3-point locking system. All glazing is of a double format. The roof is complete with integrated gutters set within the stylish metal frame, but kindly note that the product size increases to 3.30 x 3.00m at roof level due to the overhang. Self-assembly by customer, instructions supplied. Installation service option (upon customers prepared base). All timbers supplied untreated, customer to decorate.

Planning permission:
Generally, this type of building is classified as "Permitted Development" and usually should not require Planning Permission. Commonly buildings under 30 square metres do not require planning permission if the following criteria is followed:
(1) Under 20 square metres; the building must be sited at least 5m away from the main property and not between the property and the main highway. (2) The size of the building must not exceed 50% of the size of the land surrounding the property.
(3) The building must not exceed a height of 4m. The Life Space does not exceed 4m in height.
(4) When the building is between 20-30 square metres there must be a space of at least 1m all round to any adjoining property or boundary. This is not applicable to the Life Space, but we recommend a space of at least 1m from any boundary or obstruction in order to aid assembly.
CAUTION! Local conditions may prevail and it is always best to contact your Local Planning Office for clarification. There may be restrictions and covenants, such as proximity to boundaries or other buildings, or you may live in a conservation area, and a short phone call to your Local Planning Office will bring you peace of mind prior to ordering. |
