| As of the 1st July 2007, the parliament of England and Wales have followed that of Scotland to introduce a smoking ban for enclosed and public places; namely pubs, clubs, shops, offices and public buildings etc. To provide smokers with an external refuge, we intend to offer a small range of smoking shelters, albeit we shall initially offer a single timber model only. Smoking Shelters have to comply to some basic guidelines to promote good airflow, where by at least 50% of the wall area must be permanently open and that they should be placed at least 1.50m away from another structure or barrier - such as a wall, hedge or fence etc. As mentioned we intend to add further Smoking Shelters to our range, of which several are currently under assessment. |
