The Mortimer Log Cabin from the Berkshire Log Cabins range. The Berkshire log cabins are high quality, premium log cabins designed for either work, rest or play. Produced from FSC certified, slow grown and kiln-dried untreated Nordic Spruce from sustainable sources, the Mortimer is formed from 28mm thick interlocking planed wall logs. With its generous eaves height, opening windows and part-glazed single door, this log cabin provides a light and versatile space for all-year-round use. The Mortimer also benefits from the inclusion of an integral verandah. For long term ground level protection, the wooden 40x55mm floor supports (joists) are factory pressure treated. The sturdy roof and floor are clad with 19mm planed tongue and groove boarding. The part-glazed single door is formed from laminated framing and supplied with 4mm Horticultural glass single glazing, adjustable hinges and a Euro-locking, key operated mortice lock. This product includes a mineral roofing felt (on the roll) as standard (optional extra cost for rectangular 2.2mm thick green/grey fleck roofing felt shingles). Delivered in a loose component true-log machined form (not sectional) for self-assembly by the customer upon their concrete or paved base.
