The 28mm Premium Decking Kits from the Shire Decking range. These simple loose-form garden decking kits include all of the wooden joists and profiled deck boards you'll need to create your own low-cost patio deck. For the coverage, these wooden decking kits probably offer our best value and keenest prices per square metre. Formed from vacuum pressure treated uncut quality softwood which naturally resists rot, this garden decking kit comprises 119mm wide by 28mm thick profiled and planed decking boards (grooved one side, smooth on reverse) and 44mm by 69mm supporting wooden joists. Supplied in basic wooden component form only, therefore the customer will need to source their own screws/fixings etc. To fully span the joisted frame with 119mm wide boards, the manufacturer recommends that you'll need to space the deck boards 5-8mm apart (depending upon their moisture content). This product should be built upon an existing solid and flat area, such as an existing patio, to enable sound deck support when in use.
