Delivery
Delivery Addresses
Delivery can only be made to a registered residential or commercial address. Delivery will not be made to an allotment, car park, waste ground etc. - Basic "rule of thumb": if a Royal Mail postman delivers to the address, it is likely the address is suitable for your Shedstore deliver.
Timescales
Our delivery periods vary by product, manufacturer and seasonal demand, but as a general rule standard buildings such as the more popular timber or metal sheds are often available upon a shorter delivery period than labour intensive, made-to-order products like the larger summerhouses or greenhouses.
To find the current delivery period of any individual product, please visit the chosen product's detail page. Within each product detail we include an "Anticipated Delivery" entry, where we show the manufacturer's current estimated delivery period in working days. The period given is the current delivery target throughout the majority of the UK mainland, however delivery could also occur an element sooner or later than stated due to transport logistics. For example, a central, highly populated location is likely to be serviced more often thus quicker than an outlying location such as North Scotland, West Wales or offshore locations (where possible).
Advance notification of an exact delivery date is issued to the customer by the delivering party nearer the term of an order, usually by telephone two to three days prior to the proposed date. Should the date offered not be convenient, you are able to request a re-schedule without additional charge. Deliveries typically are made weekdays only.
If you require a product by a set date - such as a playhouse for a child's birthday, or you have access concerns for the passage of any large garden building sections, please contact us for advice and assistance.
The Delivery
Delivery drivers are only insured for kerb side or driveway delivery and will generally not carry items into or onto your property, this includes rear or side access or through garages. It is not necessary for customers to be present during delivery; however, a written authorisation for delivery to occur in your absence is required, either by fax, e-mail or letter. Deliveries made in the customer's absence will be left in a safe and secure location wherever possible. The liability for the products safety will be at the risk of the customer if delivery is arranged in their absence. Please see the Contact Us page for further details regarding contacting Shedstore.
